We're on a mission to help Asian companies successfully build their brands in Europe. We are a media consultancy who provide expertise, guidance, connections, support and advertising campaign effectiveness on behalf of some of the biggest media in Europe.
Step 1: Meeting with Asian company
Goal: Understand the company's European objectives
The first role of MAP Media Asia is to consult with Asian businesses on their European growth ambitions. The primary goal of the meeting is to understand the client's needs; which European markets are of interest, what customer demographic they are targeting and give some broad guidance on when and how to start marketing their goods and services.
Step 2: Explain the European Media Scene
Goal: Educate the company on the market of interest
MAP Media Asia's key goal is to make the advertiser feel comfortable with the new European territory they are entering and this is possible by sharing years of relevant experience, market knowledge and significant data and analysis. We provide a free consultancy on firstly the advertising market in that region in terms of legislation, consumer behaviour and entry cost implications. Secondly we can analyse advertising activity of the client's competitive set including seasonality, media mix and budgeting.
Step 3: Offer a multi screen solution
Goal: Provide a media plan based upon a brief
Once the client has decided to consider one or more of the 12 European markets we have access to we will require a media brief in order to provide the most cost effective media solutions possible. The portfolio of channels and platforms in the MAP Media Asia portfolio are market leaders on most targets and so can give the advertiser access to mass and niche audiences at a range of budget levels. Pricing incentives are provided for new entrants and are dependent upon budget levels.
Step 4: Managing and optimising campaign
Goal: Maximise the efficiency of the campaign
When the advertising campaign is booked and has begun MAP Media Asia will provide the advertiser with spot-by-spot viewing analysis to the nearest second and access to visual examples of the on air transmissions and off air executions. During the campaign the media planners at the TV channels will constantly optimise the schedule to maximise its overall performance based upon the agreed parameters.
Step 5: Review and market development
Goal: Provide post campaign analysis and strategic planning
Once the campaign has finished MAP Media Asia will provide a complete campaign analysis for the advertiser. The post campaign meeting is a good opportunity to get client feedback on KPI results in order to plan future activity in the same territory or in new markets. Most advertisers tend to launch in one market then build gradually across the region depending upon their distribution and ambition.

Mark has had a 2O year career in consumer advertising working with some of the biggest advertisers in the world and representing some of the biggest media agencies and broadcasters in the world. After spending more than a decade helping UK companies build their brand and sell product on the European continent Mark identified a terrific opportunity to help Asian companies be successful in European markets, moving East to West, so he relocated to central Asia to easily access the whole region on behalf of the media companies he partners with.
Apart from spending many hours in airports and hotels it is the diversity of the region that fascinates Mark with every country being a different experience in terms of culture and business.
